The Portfolio Committee on Finance, Economic Development and Tourism,
extends invitations to the District Municipalities, the local municipalities,
Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs), business organisations, community
based organisations, non-governmental organisations, youth organisations,
traditional authorities, parastatals, political parties and the media
particularly in the districts mentioned below to attend Public Hearings on the
Provincial Budget 2007.
The purpose of the public hearings will be to engage the public in the
regions of the province on the Provincial Budget 2007. The public hearings will
be conducted in the four regions of the North West province, namely, Bojanala,
Bophirima, Southern and Central from 7 to 8 March 2007.
