North West Legislature to go on housing fact finding mission, 31 Aug – 1

Portfolio committee on Developmental Local Government and Housing, led by
the Honourable Mahlakeng Mahlakeng, will be on a fact finding mission to look
into various questions asked about construction company Toro ya Afrika. The
committee will be in Rustenburg and Klerksdorp on Thursday, 31 August and in
Taung on Friday, 1 September to visit various projects. The aim of this
delegation is to find out if, in fact, there is any substance to the many
rumours abounding regarding Toro ya Afrika and the possible irregular awarding
of tenders to this company.
