The Provincial Department of Land Affairs in Mmabatho, North West, will
relocate from their current office in NWDC building at the corner of University
Drive and Provident Street to their new office in the Shama Investment complex,
at 9 Shippard Street, Mafikeng, from 27 March 2006.
Established in December 1995 with a staff component of only 13 officials,
the provincial Land Affairs Department, also known as the Provincial Land
Reform Office, has grown to a staff compliment of 49 posts over the past 11
years, thus expansion, a response to growing land reform and land services
demands has made the relocation to a bigger, accessible and client friendly
premises imperative.
