Ten of the 13 women teachers of Diphetogo Primary School in Mafikeng who
perished in a tragic road accident last Saturday morning will be buried at the
Mmabatho Cemetery this Saturday.
The mass funeral service will commence at the North West University Great
Hall (Mafikeng Campus) at 07:00. The other three teachers who also died in the
accident are to be buried at their respective homes in Brits, Ganyesa and
Zeerust.
More than 6 000 mourners are expected to pack the massive hall where the
day's programme will start and later end.
A memorial service for all the deceased has been scheduled for Thursday, 29
June 2006, at the SABC North West Exhibition Hall from 11:00. Friends and
family should be seated by 10:30.
A Disaster Fund has been opened with a bank for all those who wish to make a
