Ms Mavivi Myakayaka-Manzini, Member of the National Assembly, will address a
Women's Month Memorial Lecture at the North West University (Potchefstroom
Campus) on Thursday, 31 August 2006. The lecture marks the culmination of the
Women's Month programme in the North West.
Held under the theme âAge of hope: Women in action to advance the 1956
agenda", the key objective of this memorial lecture is to pay tribute to the
heroic struggles waged by the women of South Africa and to rededicate the
nation to the advancement of the goals and aspirations of the women of
1956.
