National Treasury to host G20 Ministerial and Governors meeting, 17 to
18 Nov

South Africa to host a two-day Ministerial and Governors
meeting Western Cape Hotel and Spa in Kleinmond

South Africa, the current chair of G20, will host a two-day Ministerial and
Governors meeting at the Western Cape Hotel and Spa in Kleinmond in the Western
Cape province from 17 November 2007. The South African chairmanship is under
the capable leadership of Finance Minister Mr Trevor A Manuel, MP and Reserve
Bank Governor Mr Tito Mboweni.

The G20 is an informal forum which promotes an open dialogue between Finance
Ministers and Central Bank Governors from significant industrial and emerging
market economies. The forum represents around two-thirds of the world's
population and 90 percent of world gross domestic product. The G20 helps to
support growth and development by strengthening the international financial
architecture.

Arrangements for media

On-line registration is now open and will close on 2 November 2007. Click on
http://www.g20.org to register. Please note
that you will not be able to gain access to the G20 precinct if you have not
registered.

A live accreditation centre will open from 16 November 2007 at 08h30 until
16h30.

There will be a press conference on Sunday, 18 November 2007.

Media facilities will be available at the media centre from 16 November
until 18 November 2007.
