The Minister of Education, Mrs Naledi Pandor will today, Friday, 3 November
2006 at 13h30, address the launch of the International Association for Digital
Publication ("IADP") at the University of the Western Cape. The Minister will
thereafter tour the campus.
The aim of the IADP is to assist university students in developing countries
to get affordable access to learning materials, including textbooks, journals
and e learning coursework.

On Friday, 3 November 2006, Minister Pandor will address the NBI/ENGEN
Professional Development Programme Celebration Ceremony at the Engen Court,
Thibault Square, Cape Town.
The ceremony will be celebrating the achievements of Maths and Science
educators, drawn from some of the previously disadvantaged primary schools in
the Western Cape.
