All media is cordially invited to attend a media briefing that will mark the
launch of the Vulombe General Dealer Soccer and Netball Tournament that will be
taking place on 9 September 2006, at Kamaqhekeza stadium.
The media launch is scheduled to take place as follows:

Vulombe is a company contracted to Transvaal Suiker Beperk (TSB) to supply
Selati Sugar direct to retailers. The director of the company, Mr Mnisi, from
the Nkomazi area, has pledged to assist about 53 schools in the Nkomazi area in
terms of soccer and netball development. He will be doing this in the form of
an annual tournament which started this year 2006 until 2008. With the passage
of time and possible acquirement of extra sponsors the number of schools
benefiting from this initiative is likely to be increased.
The Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Mpumalanga Department of
Culture, Sport and Recreation, Ms Nomsa Mtsweni, will officially launch the
tournament.
