Gauteng MEC for Housing, Nomvula Mokonyane, will visit the integrated
Munsieville 20 Prioritised Township Project (PTP) on the West Rand to assess
the progress made on Sunday, 19 August 2007.
Munsieville forms part of the 20 identified townships in the province that
need urgent rehabilitation. The R3 billion 20 PTP project, which was launched
last year by Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa, is aimed at the rehabilitation
of existing social and economic infrastructure in the previously marginalised
townships.
The MEC will engage with the community regarding the developments and major
revamping of the township.
