N Mapisa-Nqakula to open upgraded Home Affairs office in Giyani and
deliver IDs as part of launch of 2006 Imbizo programmes, 17 Feb

As a further confirmation to the Home Affairs high level commitment to
service delivery in the new year (2006) the Minister of Home Affairs Nosiviwe
Mapisa-Nqakula will on Friday ,17 February 2006, deliver identity documents
(IDs)to impoverished communities in Giyani, Limpopo.

This will be part of the Minister’s launch of Imbizo programmes for the year
2006. The Minister will also officially open the newly upgraded Home Affairs
office in Giyani.

Members of the media are invited to join the Minister during the
‘door-to-door’ delivery of IDs to communities. The door-to-door campaign starts
at 9:00am.
