Violence against Women and Children 2006 report

The National Convener of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against
Women and Children, Deputy Minister of Provincial and Local Government, Ms
Nomatyala Hangana, invites media to a presentation of the 16 Days of Activism
for No Violence against Women and Children 2006 report.
Partners that were part of the campaign will participate in the programme,
namely EngenderHealth, South African Council of Churches, Young Women's
Christian Association, and the Commission on Gender Equality.
The purpose of the presentation is to evaluate the extent to which the
campaign met its objectives and the challenges experienced.
