Minister Dlamini Zuma to hold discussions with Serbian
counterpart

13 April 2007

Pretoria: South African Foreign Minister Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will
later today Friday, 13 April 2007, hold discussions with her Serbian
counterpart Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic at the Union Buildings in
Pretoria.

Minister Draskovic will brief Minister Dlamini Zuma on Serbia's position
regarding the comprehensive proposal for the Kosovo Status Settlement presented
to the Security Council on 26 March 2007 by the Secretary-General's Special
Envoy for the future status process for Kosovo Martti Ahtisaari.

Minister Dlamini Zuma will hold discussions with the Serbian delegation
within the context of South Africa's tenure as a non-permanent member of the
United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

The UNSC will later this month send a delegation to Kosovo to evaluate the
situation as it considers Mr Ahtisaari's proposal for granting independence
under international supervision to Kosovo.
