African Union meeting on Comoros

South African Foreign Minister Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will on Tuesday, 18
September 2007 chair the African Union Ministerial Committee of Countries of
the Region on Comoros in Cape Town that will assess political developments in
the Comoros.
The Committee consists of Foreign Ministers from Tanzania, Seychelles,
Mauritius, Madagascar, Kenya and Mozambique.
Minister Dlamini Zuma will chair this meeting of the Ministerial Committee
of Countries of the Region on Comoros within the context of the African Union's
priority to consolidate peace, security and national reconciliation in the
Comoros.
Accordingly, this meeting follows that held in Cape Town in June earlier
this year, which was immediately followed by a visit of Ministers of Countries
of the Region, led by Minister Dlamini Zuma, to the Comoros. The meeting will
be held as follows:
