Deputy Minister Botha to speak at the launch of an events and
technical services task team, 13 July 2006

The Department of Arts and Culture (DAC) invites members of the media to the
official launch of the events and technical services task team. In 2005, DAC
hosted an events indaba initiated by the Technical Production Services
Association. Subsequent to the indaba, an events and technical services task
team was elected to lead the events and technical industry as it deals with
such issues as compliance, quality assurance, partnerships, transformation,
empowerment, skills and human resource development and sustainability.
