Your institution is invited to cover the official handover of a
multi-million rand state of the art security system to the Minister of
Correctional Services Ngconde Balfour on Monday, 21 August 2006, at the
Pretoria Management Area at 10h30.
Last year Minister Ngconde Balfour announced a multi-million rand biometric
access control system with closed circuit television monitors for installation
in 66 centres of excellence and priority maximum security centres around the
country. On Monday the installing company will hand over the national control
centre to the Minister.
