The Minister of Correctional Services, Hon. Ngconde Balfour, today, Monday,
30 October 2006, kick-starts a two-day Imbizo programme in Kimberley.
Minister Balfour will today conduct a door-to-door campaign and walkabout in
the City Centre, Galeshewe, and surrounding areas at 16h30, where he will
interact with communities and the general public to promote the Imbizo.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, 31 October 2006, at 10h00, the Minister will address a
community Imbizo at the site of the construction of the new generation centre
just off Long Street. Minister Balfour will unveil the new site in a symbolic
bricklaying ceremony and further announce plans on the construction of the
three other new generation centre announced by the President during the State
of the Nation Address in 2002.
