Leading the South African delegation the Minister of Correctional Services,
Mr Ngconde Balfour, MP, will accompany the United Nations (UN)
Secretary-General Kofi Annan today as he meets former President, Mr Mandela, at
Houghton after which the delegation will proceed to the Hector Peterson
Memorial Square at 12h15.
Another place to be visited is the Ubuntu Kraal in Orlando West Soweto.
There will be an opportunity for the media to interview Minister Balfour at
the Johannesburg International Airport at 14h00 as Mr Kofi Annan leaves for
Madagascar.
