The Gauteng MEC for Education, Angie Motshekga, invites all residents of
Orlando East to a public meeting, to be informed about the final decision on
the merger between the Altem Secondary School and the Orlando Secondary
School.
The decision was taken by the Department in a bid to ensure that the
combined resources of the schools are put to optimal use to provide quality
education.
The MEC will next week also continue with her visits to schools in the
province, and will on Monday, 16 January 2006, visit the Pretoria High School
for Girls, Tshwane College and the Makhosini Combined School in Tshwane from
07h30.
