Province for a Presidential Imbizo

The Presidential Imbizo programme, a forum for enhancing dialogue and
interaction between government and the people, will see the Deputy President
Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka visiting the Pixley ka Seme District Municipality in the
Northern Cape Province from tomorrow Friday and Saturday, 18 to 19 August
2006.
During her visit, Deputy President will be briefed on the State of the
District, meet with stakeholders such as business, non-governmental
organisations (NGOs) and other sectors of civil society before engaging the
public in a community imbizo.
She will be accompanied by several Cabinet Ministers, the Premier of
Northern Cape Province, Ms Dipuo Peters and members of the Provincial Executive
Council.
