Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene will deliver the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) to a sitting of the National Assembly on Wednesday, 21 October 2015 at 14h00.
Seating is limited therefore members of the media who would like to be in the National Assembly media bay are required to send their details to Mlindi Mpindi on 021 403 2340 or 073 197 1315 or at mmpindi@parliament.gov.za copying mntsodo@parliament.gov.za to reserve their seats on a first come first served basis.
Details required are: Full name, ID/passport number, name of media organisation, designation (writer, photographer, for example), telephone number, and cell phone number.
Documentation related to the MTBPS will be available on the National Treasury website (www.treasury.gov.za) when the Minister starts his address to Parliament, at around 14.00.
The MTBPS will be broadcast live on Parliament’s DSTV Channel 408 as well as Parliament's YouTube Channel and copies of the speech will be available on the Parliament website (www.parliament.gov.za) and the Treasury website (www.treasury.gov.za).
