MEC Nkakareng Rakgoale to handover two of the sixty contractors appointed to do preventative maintenance in the province.
In an effort to maintain some of the roads that have reached their life span and are damaged, the entity of the Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure, Roads Agency Limpopo, has appointed about 90 contractors to carry out maintenance on identified roads in the province.
This is aimed at creating a safer environment for motorists, as well as enabling an environment for economic activities by providing quality roads infrastructure.
MEC Rakgoale will be officially handing over two contractors in Vhembe and Mopani Districts to maintain the D4 road from the N1 intersection to Elim and D3179 road from Medingen-Malemetja respectively. This is also part of Operation Thiba Mekoti Ditseleng, a pothole patching and maintenance program which is in full swing across the province.
The events for the handing over of the two contractors have been scheduled as follows:

2. Greater Letaba Municipal Offices, Mopani District, then proceed to Medingen.
