Deputy Minister Buti Manamela delivers keynote address at South West Gauteng TVET College’s Partnership Breakfast in Muldersdrift, 7 Nov

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Mr Buti Manamela will deliver a keynote address at the South West Gauteng TVET College’s Partnership Breakfast in Muldersdrift, Gauteng.

One of the core responsibilities of the TVET College is to break down barriers by creating creating pathways for young people to access skills training programmes, access workplace-based training, articulate into higher education, and pursue self-employment without any hindrance.

Work-integrated learning speaks directly to the vision of the White Paper on Post-School Education and Training emphasises the crucial role of technical and vocational education that combines academic and workplace learning.

The Deputy Minister will be joined by the College Deputy Principals, College Council Chairperson, SETA’s, Other TVET Colleges, Universities, Education and Training Sector strategic partners, Industry and Business Leaders, and other leaders within the skills development sector.
