Launch of Regional Banking Dialogue for Sub-Saharan Africa
The National Treasury, in collaboration with the US Department of the Treasury, will launch a Regional Banking Dialogue for Sub-Saharan Africa on 9–10 November 2022 in Cape Town. The dialogue aims to provide an avenue for cooperation and facilitate active regional dialogue on Anti- Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) issues which could negatively impact the integrity of the banking sector in Sub-Saharan Africa. The regional banking dialogue will draw participants in the private and public sector from the US and Sub-Saharan African countries.
Media is invited to attend the opening session on the 9th of November 2022.
