The MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Ace Magashule, will meet with sport
stakeholders in the field of soccer and boxing. The first session will be held
with management from Bloemfontein Celtics Football Club and will be followed by
a session with management from Free State Stars Football Club. The theme of the
meetings with these two soccer teams which are both at Premier League level is
sport or club enhancement.
The third session will be held with soccer teams playing at both Mvela and
Vodacom levels. The theme for this session is sport or club development. The
last session will be held with stakeholders from the boxing fraternity. The
theme guiding this session is sport promotion.
These meetings will be held by MEC Ace Magashule as part of the turn around
strategy in sport in the Free State. The strategy aims to ensure sport
enhancement, promotion and development at various levels of sport
participation. Various stakeholders, sport officials, managers, legends and
current players are expected to be part of these meetings.
All the meeting will be held on 15 November 2007 at Business Partners
Building, 4th Floor (Corner Henry and East Burger Streets) starting from
8h00.
