The Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, Marthinus van Schalkwyk,
and the Chief Executive of South African National Parks, Dr David Mabunda, will
officially receive from Euro-copter Southern Africa the first new AS350 B3 s/n
4091 helicopter for South African National Parks (SANParks).
The new helicopter comes with more advanced technology, increased power and
pay load (five to six passengers as opposed to two - three in the EC10),
improved law enforcement, anti-poaching, cargo sling and fire fighting
capability.
