cost of private healthcare

The Minister of Health, Dr Manto Tshabalala-Msimang is to meet the
representatives of various sections of the private healthcare industry to
discuss the allegations of inflation of private health care cost in Pretoria
today (8 August).
The meeting will discuss measures that should be taken to ensure
transparency and responsible business practice throughout the sector including
the medical schemes, health service-providers and suppliers.
The meeting is part of the Department of Health's efforts to increase access
to affordable healthcare in the country.
The media is invited to a briefing on the outcomes of this meeting. The
briefing takes place as follow:
