Focus Week

The Gauteng Premier, Mbhazima Shilowa, and MECs will on Wednesday, 25
October 2006, visit communities as part of the Gauteng Imbizo campaign that
forms part of National Imbizo Focus Week.
The Gauteng Imbizo gives provincial and local government leaders an
opportunity to hear residents' concerns and suggestions as well as to expand on
government's plans to develop their areas and the province as a whole.
Direct dialogue and feedback from communities enables government to
streamline service delivery aimed at improving people's lives.
The Premier and MECs will hold public meetings scheduled to start at 17h00,
except for MEC Cachalia's Imbizo that will start at 15h00.
The venues for the public meetings are as follows:

* MEC Nomvula Mokonyane - Faranani Multi-Purpose Community Centre (MPCC) Hall,
Tsakane Victory Sports Ground
* MEC Qedani Mahlangu - Itsoseng, Mamelodi, Corner Moreri and Lesedi Streets,
Nelmapius
* MEC Ignatius Jacobs - Tshwane, Tshepong Meeting Place, Tshepong Informal

* MEC Brian Hlongwa - Sedibeng; Ward 4/ 5 Open Ground, Kliprivier,
Sedibeng
* MEC Khabisi Mosunkutu - Kekana Sports Ground, Kekana Gardens, Nokeng Tsa
Taimane
* MEC Paul Mashatile - Zithobeni MPCC, Kungwini (MEC Lekgoro); Zuurbekom
