Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana will on Tuesday 18 April embark on a
two-day tour of the Western Cape Province as part of his Imbizo outreach
programme.
The trip forms part of the Ministerâs nationwide tour which has already
covered all provinces during the course of last year.
The Western Cape tour will entail visits of various areas where Minister
Mdladlana will inspect the level of public service delivery on various
programmes including skills development.
The expedition will provide the Minister with an opportunity to interact
with stakeholders, including workers, and skills training providers on their
day-to-day challenges.
The highlight of the tour will be the official opening of the Labour
Departmentâs satellite office in Atlantis, as part of the Departmentâs policy
of bringing governance to the people.
