will discuss labour issues on 32nd ARLAC

Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana will tomorrow (Wednesday) join his
counterparts from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) at a high
level symposium on the role of labour administration in promoting social
security for sustainable development in Mutare-Zimbabwe.
The 32nd African Region Labour Administration Council (ARLAC) Governing
Council Meeting for Ministers will discuss issues such as decent work, national
poverty reduction strategies, HIV/AIDS pandemic, gender dimension of poverty
and good governance.
Other issues to be discussed include labour inspection, collective
bargaining, and child labour, freedom of association, unemployment and skills
development.
