Since its inception in 1996 the CCMA has successfully handled more than a
staggering 1,3 million cases, with 500 new referrals being dealt every day.
Among the well-known disputes the CCMA has handled are the six-month long
airport workersâ strike in 2004, the recent security guards strike and many
more.
