Labour to host debate on labour market flexibility, 11 May

Labour market flexibility will be on every one’s mind when social partners,
led by Minister Membathisi Mdladlana, converge on Emperors Palace, near Kempton
Park, on 11 May.

Among the participants in the debate will be organised labour, business,
community representatives and academics.

The issues on the table for debate will include discussions on labour market
policies and its impact on job creation, small business development, regulatory
efficiency of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration,
dispute resolution and the Labour Relations Act.

The issues at stake have already generated interest from both our local and
international press.

Media briefings will be arranged during the course of this event, the media
is invited. Venue and details are as follows.
