Labour Department to hold public hearings on Private
Security

The Department of Labour in the Northern Cape will on Thursday (Oct 5)
conduct public hearings for the Private Security Sector. The hearings form part
of the Department's efforts to establish sound employment conditions, including
the minimum wage, working hours and leave accruement in the private security
industry.

Attendants will also be expected to prepare and give submissions to
influence the final draft of the legislation.

The department invites all stakeholders to attend the gathering, which will
also be open to the media.
