Labour and three unions to set date for conciliation

Date for conciliation

29 June 2006

The Department of Labour and three unions failed to reach agreement in their
talks in Pretoria today to bring to an end the demand for a bonus incentive
scheme.

This follows a dispute with Public Servants Association (PSA), National
Education Health and Allied Workers Union (HEHAWU) and South African State and
Allied Workers Union (SASAWU) declared a week ago.

The parties agreed to take the matter to conciliation set for 6 July
2006.
