All members of the media are invited to the first Annual General Meeting
(AGM) of Women in Agriculture and Rural Development (WARD) to be held during
the weekend.
The Minister for Agriculture and Land Affairs, Honourable Lulu Xingwana,
will address the two-day AGM of the rural women's organisation established in
October 2006 to inter alia improve the recognition of women as active
participants in the agricultural sector and rural development programme,
policies and services.
