The Minister for Agriculture and Land Affairs, Ms Lulu Xingwana, would like
to invite members of the media to the 2006 Female Farmer of the Year Awards to
be held in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal on 26 August.
The awards are meant to recognise the contribution of women in agriculture
and support their efforts in being successful.
Members of the media will be afforded the opportunity to interview the
Minister and the winners after the event.
