The Minister for Agriculture and Land Affairs, Ms Lulu Xingwana, would like
to invite members of the media to the handing over of land to the Inzinini
Community in the Bizana District, Eastern Cape province. This will take place
on 21 December 2006, at the Mbizana Municipality at 10h00. The following day,
22 December 2006, the Minister will hand over the Majola Tea Estate to the
Luthengele and Majola communities. The event is at 10h00, at the Port St Johns
Municipality.
Both the above have been made possible through land restitution. Members of
the media will be afforded an opportunity to interview the Minister and the
Chief Land Claims Commissioner, Mr Tozi Gwanya, at the events.
