institutions to officially hand-over more than 60 houses in New Rest, Cape

The National Minister of Housing Lindiwe Sisulu in partnership with all
housing institutions will officially hand over about 60 houses built in New
Rest, Cape Town during the Department of Housing Men's Build Initiative on 3
December 2007.
The houses were built by men volunteers from all Housing Institutions,
members of the community in New Rest and surrounding areas and officials from
the Department of Housing nationally, provincially and locally from the 29
October 2007 till 29 November 2007.
In line with the successful Women's Build organised during Women's Month in
August, Minister Lindiwe Sisulu challenged men from New Rest and surrounding
areas to build more than 50 houses in one month, 29 October 2007 till 29
November 2007, during her department Men's Build. These houses will benefit the
community of New Rest, whose beneficiaries will be selected by the
community.
