The national Imbizo Focus week that starts from 26 � 31 October 2006, is a
mechanism through which government seeks to provide platforms to upscale
interactive communication with citizens. The focus of this year's week is on
second economy interventions in order to improve conditions of the poor and
better their quality of lives.
The theme for this week is: "A national effort for faster and shared
growth." The provincial highlight of the Imbizo programme will take the form of
an Exco meets the people function that will be held in Sekhukhune District, a
presidential nodal point.
The Minister of Housing, Dr Lindiwe Sisulu, Premier Sello Moloto and members
of executive council will attend the Sekhukhune event scheduled as
follows.
