the Protocol on Nepad ICT Broadband Infrastructure Network

The Director-General of Communications, Ms Lyndall Shope-Mafole, will brief
the Portfolio Committee on Communications on the Protocol on Policy and
Regulation for Nepad ICT Broadband Infrastructure Network for Eastern and
Southern Africa. Tomorrow's briefings follow Communications Minister, Dr Ivy
Matsepe-Casaburri's announcement in her Budget Vote Speech last month that the
Protocol will be tabled before Parliament for ratification.
