The Department of Correctional Services, Gauteng Region, has the pleasure of
inviting media to the Gala Awards event to honour, recognise hard work,
commitment, diligence and celebrate offendersâ contribution to the core mandate
of the Department. Inmates will be awarded trophies and certificates for a job
well done in various categories, such as: Higher Education and Training,
Further Education and Training (FET), General Education and Training, Best
Regional Choir, Skills Development, Care, Best Regional Team and Corrections.
Department of Correctional Services Deputy Minister, Ms Loretta Jacobus, will
grace the occasion.
