The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education has caught out two ghost writers,
who tried to write the mathematics paper for two other candidates in the Senior
Certificate Examination.
An official from the examinations directorate of the department scrutinised
all identity documents at Shakas Kraal Adult Public Learning Centre when she
found that the identity documents of the ghost writers did not match those they
were supposed to be writing for. The South African Police were called and the
two were arrested.
Examinations commenced smoothly today, 15 October 2007, in
KwaZulu-Natal.
