Gauteng MEC for Social Development, Kgaogelo Lekgoro, will host the
commissioner for the New York Human Resource Administration, Commissioner V
Eggleston, on 10 May 2006. The Commissioner is on a visit to South Africa from
7 -13 May 2006.
Commissioner Eggleston will meet Lekgoro, Chairperson of the Portfolio
Committee, Steward Ngwenya, and the HOD of Social Development, Bheki Sibeko, to
brief them on the functioning of the grant disbursement process and challenges
of providing social services.

Venue: Thusanong Building, 69 Commissioner Street, Johannesburg
From 12h30 - 17h00 the delegation will tour Soweto: Visit the Sizanani Home
Based Care at 12h30 - 13h30 2. Visit the Othandweni Children's home 14h30
-15h30.
The delegation will then be taken on a tour around Soweto from
15h30-17h00.
