The Minister of Transport, Jeff Radebe and the Chief Executive of South
African Rail Commuter Corporation (SARCC) Lucky Montana will tomorrow, the 3rd
of July 2007, officially unveil the Soweto Business Express (SBE), to enhance
the Metrorail service as part of the passenger rail turnaround strategy. The
SBE is expected to cut travelling time between Johannesburg and Naledi, while
also providing for own vehicle users through the park ride facilities and the
distribution and feeder service at stations. Other dignitaries expected to
grace the unveiling of the SBE include, City of Johannesburg Mayor, Amos
Masondo and the Gauteng MEC of Public Transport, Roads and Works, Ignatius
Jacobs.

Members of the media are advised that transport has been arranged to leave
Wits Metropark next to Park Station on Leyds Street, Braamfontein around 05h15,
with a return trip on the Soweto Business Express.
