Transport Minister Jeff Radebe will launch the National Freight Databank in
Pretoria on Monday next week. A Freight Databank is storage of information on
the movement of goods and cargo on South Africa's Road and Rail Networks.
Details of the launch are as follows:

Pretoria

The National Freight Databank will be used as a tool, which will enable the
mapping of corridors, enable regional integration and determine freight traffic
peak-times and congestion.
