Transport Minister Jeff Radebe, will address the South African Network of
Women in Transport seminar being held in Johannesburg as part of the Transport
Month campaign. The objective of the two-day seminar is to look at economic
opportunities and challenges for women in the transport sector with a focus on
women organisations, groupings and individuals covering all modes of transport,
public (busses and taxis), maritime, aviation, rail, freight and financial
institutions.
The seminar will cover some key issues in transport including infrastructure
management, passenger transport and freight and logistical services.
