Transport Minister, Jeff Radebe will give a keynote address at the launch of
the interim People Movers Bus launch to be held in Durban tomorrow
afternoon.
The Durban People Movers is a pilot phase development of the city's ultimate
Inner City Circulatory System, which aims to deliver a world-class public
transport system, which is safe, sustainable, comfortable and reliable.
The People Movers will also enhance the economic growth and development for
the people through job creation training skills. The People Movers is in line
with the Department of Transport's integrated Public Transport Strategy and
Action Plan.
