Results of by-election held on 31 January 2007

The Deputy Chief Electoral Officer of the Independent Electoral Commission
(IEC), Mr Mosotho Moepya, said in Pretoria today, 1 February, that the African
National Congress (ANC) won the only ward by-election which took place on 31
January 2007.
The new councillor for ward 25 in Greater Tubatse
(Burgersfort/Ohrigstad/Eastern Tubatse) � LIM475 in Limpopo is Matshehla Maggie
Mametja.
Voter turnout was 25,07 percent.

of the municipal elections held on 1 March 2006 are available on the IEC
