The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) wishes to inform that Steve
Mabona the ICDâs National Spokesperson is leaving the organisation.
Mr Mabona who is currently serving notice, will be joining the South African
Social Security Agency (SASSA) Gauteng with effect from 1 September 2006. He
has been the mouthpiece of the ICD for a number of years and served the
organisation with dedication, commitment and enthusiasm.
Members of the media are advised to continue to use the official mobile
phone numbers for all ICD related enquiries (082 809 1927).
The Acting Executive Director of the ICD, Mr Leslie Xinwa, said âSteve
Mabona will be sorely missed by all of us at the ICD as he had captured the
sensitivity of our communication in this establishment. While we accept that he
can only grow if he leaves us, we are conscious of the huge gap opened by his
departure. We wish him well in his new venture.â
