Icasa publishes the license conversion matrix

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) has
published the license conversion matrix. The drafting of the conversion matrix
follows the publication of Notice No 1257 in the Government Gazette 30352 dated
4 October 2007 in which licensees were requested to provide the authority with
information relating to their licenses. The Authority received a total of 178
submissions.

The authority requests licensees to study the matrix and confirm their
rights, i.e. license category. In the event that the information contained in
the matrix does not properly reflect what has been submitted or the appropriate
license category, the licensee is required to notify the Authority in writing
by 16:00 on 14 November 2007 by fax or e-mail to:
