Icasa issues a draft licensing processes and procedures
notice

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) hereby
calls upon all interested parties to submit written submissions on the draft
regulations regarding the processes and procedures for applying for licences to
provide Electronic Communications Network Services, Electronic Communications
Services and Broadcasting Services.

The licensing processes and procedures are in terms of chapter three of the
Electronic Communications Act of 2005 which empowers the authority to prescribe
regulations setting out the process and procedures for applying for or
registering, amending, transferring and renewing of licences.

A copy of the proposed regulations is available on Icasa's website, http://www.icasa.org.za or it can also be
obtained from Icasa Library at:
